2 days to go and we can finally set up our wedding Marquee. The
Marquee was already up on Nettlestead Place so all we had to do was create a tent into an absolute jaw-dropping dream world J
We started with sticking down our evening dance floor with our
beautiful silver initials. Thanks to our amazing Uncle David Fagg J
Then we added the carpet (I say we but we just watched the
carpet being laid). The carpet where everyone were going to be seated was a
white/cream colour and where the guests were going to be entering was a dark
beige colour (knowing it would be raining and muddy) so the mud wouldn’t show
up as much!
Once the carpet had been laid we could then add all the table
and chairs. We had one long table, four round tables both sides, cake table and our top
table.
Table and chairs set we were able to start and DIVA/Jenna
everything up J White table
clothes and cutlery laid by the caterers.
Now the fun can begin.
We started with putting the menus out to everyone (can I just
add these were all handcrafted by mummy and helped by Liane and I). We bought
little stick-on diamantes and stuck them next to the guests dinner choice just
incase they forgot and to help the caterers out for when they delivered the
guests their food on our special day day J
We also added to the
table our favors, they were Lindt chocolate bars wrapped with the same paper
format as our menus with the guests names on.
Then we had our table names, each
card (same format as all the others) had a different song that Josh and I love.
We had the title of the song and also our favourite lyrics from the song but
with a twist J the title of the songs were
written in Spanish J
Our flowers were created by the BEST florists ever, Girl Flower.
Take a look at their Blog on our wedding.

With everything set in the main reception we sprinkled thousands and thousands of different sized diamantes everywhere and added a couple of candles to the tables.
In the Entrance we had 6 white sofas for chilling J and an oval table where we put our wishing
tree and our book for guests to sign that was beautifully created by Dalver
Birak.
To display our table plan we bought a BEAUTIFUL full-length
mirror where we could stick each table with our guests’ names on. So when our
guests were trying to find where they were sitting they could fix their lipstick or moustache
;)
I’m not going to lie most of the last minute touches were done whilst I was
sleeping, as the drastic weather was taking over the entire marquee. Mum, dad, Ryan, the mills
boys and Jeremy helped created the finished masterpiece, the dry masterpiece! We are forever grateful.
I could not wait to see the finished product :)
Bring on tomorrow (Our Wedding Day)
