Bridal Shower- Part 2

As I walked downstairs and into the living room I was speechless, there was food covering every table top in sight, a dream come true J
As I walked through the kitchen I noticed to my right a sweetie table full of pink and white sweeties J YUMMY!

As I then walked outside I saw 2 wooden bars, one was a S’more bar and the other was a burger bar J They looked absolutely amazing!!! Thank you Daddy (well Emma and Ryan’s wedding hand me downs J) The whole decking was covered as well to protect us girlies from the rain!

Dad was starting the BBQ whilst the finishing touches were being done. Soon our guests started arriving J

The night started with everyone having to make their own princess tiaras out of pipe cleaners I then had to decide who created the best crown J Gotta love a competition!

It was then time to eat some delicious burgers and fresh salad from Jenna’s Burger Bar. Absolutely scrumptious.

After stuffing our faces we needed time to let the food go down so we played a game where everyone had 2 sticks, one with lips on and one with a moustache on, Liane would ask a question and then everyone would have to guess whether it was Joshua or I that had said or did it. Moustache for Joshua and Lips for Me J I know I had so much fun with this game, tricking everyone to think it was Josh when it was me, especially the passing of wind one ;) Our little secret!!

Another game we played was pass the parcel and every time the music stopped and the wrapping paper was ripped open a prize and a question or a dare would fall out! There were questions I had to answer like how josh and I met and our first kiss (luckily I got out of that questions) and then one of the dares was to practice our first dance but obviously Josh wasn’t at my Bridal shower so I had a replacement Joshua for the night J Cheeky girl grabbed my bottom!! ;)

S’more time J We had to pick our favourite biscuits and then our favourite chocolate to go inside the biscuits. We then had to put our marshmallows on a stick and hold them over the open fire (well a candle ;)). And voilà we had created our own delicious S’mores J

Once we were all stuffed once again I was presented with a surprise, a video from my beautiful cousin Jamie Fagg (who at the time was serving his mission) who had created a song/video for me which we all got to watch, what a babe!!!

I was then handed my wedding tin. For young women’s we were asked to create our own wedding tins, which would be opened during our Bridal shower. The tin included many embarrassing things including my dream wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses, the temple I want to get sealed in, a letter to my future husband etc. All I can say is I was a weird young girl!! It was like opening Pandora’s box but worse!!!!

Before ending the night I was presented with the most incredible ombre cake, very talented and very scrummy J

The night was jam packed of amazing things but everything has to come to an end. The night finished with pictures, chatting and filling up sweetie/goodie bags J What a night!

I honestly had the most amazing night ever!! I am so grateful for all my family’s hard work and efforts. I really felt like the luckiest girl ever! I have the most AMAZING family and friends. I really hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as I did. Thank you all for coming J
I love you all xxxx

My Bridal Shower :) The Morning :)

Before I start this post I just want to say a massive Thank You to my Sister, my Mum and my Dad (with his wooden craftiness J) they were amazing at organizing everything that happened on this special/beautiful day (and for Emma helping them out too J) I had absolutely nothing to do with this day and it was all such an AMAZING surprise. I am so thankful for such an amazing family and for the time they gave up and the efforts they made to create my beautiful bridal shower and to make me the happiest girl J. I also would like to thank my beautiful family and friends that came to support me and to have such a fun girlie night J I really hope you all had such an amazing time I know I did.

I love you all.

I was woken up early on Saturday 7th July still having no idea what the day had to hold for me J I was told to dress all in black or all in white and then to head downstairs. As I arrived downstairs I was handed a tiara with a veil, necklaces, a sash and a tutu J Now I am dressed like a Princess and ready to party.

 Lets Go Girls J

I am told by Liane that there are two parts to the day.

Part 1
Spa Time J
Tayla, Liane, Emma, Mummy and I headed to The Reef Spa in town where we were going to have our toenails painted and relaxation time WAHOO!! Just what the doctor ordered. Sitting down in a massage chair whilst soaking my feet in hot soapy water and drinking a yummy hot chocolate, mmmmmmmmmmm what a dream!!!

After getting all our feet tickled and beautifully painted we all headed up to the relaxation room to chill and eat sandwiches, cakes, strawberries and cream J

Sadly we had to leave due to everyone else needing to go home to start setting up for my Bridal shower J After the embarrassment of walking through town at 11am looking a little silly we arrived home where I was locked in my room until I was summoned downstairs.
After a few hours I was finally summoned downstairs to check out my Evening Bridal Shower.
